Copperhouse Adventure Training

Welcome. Your adventure has started

As an approved activity provider for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, Copperhouse Adventure Training offers the full expedition experience. Participants from Medway and the South East region benefit from the knowledge and experience of our qualified staff. They are able to gain valuable skills and enjoy an adventure which makes memories and friendships that last a lifetime.

Wild Camping

Copperhouse Adventure Training are also able to provide outdoor school activity days. Activities such as bush craft, map reading, team building and shelter building are all enjoyed by the children that take part.

We use the National Navigation Award Scheme to train both adults and DofE participants with the skills needed to confidently walk wild moorland. The NNAS Junior program acts as an introduction to map reading and navigation, nurturing an interest in the outdoors.

Our 2017 season has been busy and as we draw to the end of the season we are busy planning the 2018 programme which will include:

  • Duke of Edinburgh's Award expeditions at all levels
  • DofE Gold and Silver training programmes
  • National Navigation Award training and assessments
  • School Activity days
  • Family wild camping experiences for parents and young people
