Bronze and Silver Expeditions

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition section is made up of three elements; Training, a practice expedition and an assessed expedition. Copperhouse Adventure Training are able to provide all the components  needed for participants to complete the expedition section.

The Bronze expedition, in addition to the training, requires individuals to partake in a two day adventure with a minimum of one night camping.  They are expected to be able to be self sufficient and carry all they need for the trip. They need to plan for 6 hours of activity each day to be successful.

The Silver follows the same guidelines as the Bronze but this is for three days with two nights camping, is for 7 hours a day in a harder environment requiring more concentration on the navigation.
